Christmas Money Burning a Hole in My Pocket!

Yesterday I had some time to kill and some Christmas money that was burning a hole in my pocket!

I gave my Facebook followers a sneak peek yesterday afternoon of my purchases.

Two beautiful accent tables that have a distressed copper finish...and two lovely green glass lamps.

I had been watching these tables for a while now and yesterday when I went in they were marked down.

At that price I knew they would be going home with me.  I picked up two to add some symmetry in my living room.  I have never had two matching tables before.  In fact, I've never had two new tables before.  All my tables have been garage sale or road-side finds, so for me this is pretty exciting stuff!

Here's a closer look at the lamp.  The shade I already had here from the mis-matched lamps I had in the living room.  They are a beautiful shade of green and they stand about 20 inches tall without the shade.
The lamps were marked $22.49 each but rang up at $13.49.  I originally only had purchased one, but after picking my son up at school, I popped back over to Target and purchased a second one.  At that price you really couldn't go wrong!

I am loving how they look on either side of the couch.
Symmetry is not something that I usually strive for but in this case,
I am LOVING it!!

The green lamps help to pick up some of the other greens in the pillows.

Here is a shot of the tops of the tables - a great pattern!

Our local Target has selected Threshold items marked down up to 70% starting today.

Have you been shopping at Target lately?

  1. Excellent buy, I am in love with those lamps. Would you believe I have not yet been in the Canadian Target stores. There are none near me in ON, but I always go into the one in Port Huron, MI. I believe there is one in Hamilton where my son lives, so I will be checking that out!!

  2. I like the lines of the tables. They've very attractive, Cheryl.

  3. Thanks ladies! I went back to Target again today and purchased a few more things, including a new lamp shade! Can't wait to show you!

  4. Great steal and I love the lamp too!

  5. You did good, they are fabulous. Thanks tons for linking to Inspire Me. Hugs, Marty

  6. Really nice new tables and lamps! The classic style of the tables is really a great choice that will last you forever.

  7. Some real bargains there Cheryl. I absolutely love your lamps. The tables really blend well in your home. Must catch up with all your blog ... God bless
