Like many across Canada and the United States, we have been experiencing a harsher than normal winter.
However, this week we were treated to a couple of days of sunshine. I took that opportunity to snap a few pictures. I hope you enjoy them!
I love the way the sun casts shadows on the snow.
...And in my home.
Here's my Sloan...he's looking grumpy in this picture!
I was so happy to see the sun this week. However it was kind of short-lived.
Today the view outside my window looks much like this...
Here's hoping the sun is shining in your neck of the woods!

We have to snatch those sunny moments don't we? You captured the sun in some lovely places. I'm visiting from Sunlit Sunday.

Deleteit is sunny here today...but we are sandwiched between snowstorms so i am afraid it won't be sunny long
ReplyDeletewe are due to get some more snow tomorrow as well, but the sun did make an appearance for a few minutes today!
DeleteYou captured the sun beautifully.
ReplyDeleteSince I have been joining it at Sunlit Sunday, I look at the sun in my home differently.
thanks so much for stopping by! I do relish the sun these days!
DeleteWell, it comes and goes, doesn't it Cheryl! All the more reason to take note of the sunshine while it lasts. Like you, I enjoy seeing how it enters the home and I can imagine being very comfortable in your living room. Perhaps the handsome Sloane will let me pet him.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, the light coming through the glassware is very pretty.

Karen - Sloan can be a shy guy sometimes...but he might like to investigate your purse...he has a fascination with those!!
DeleteI have the very same bottles- got them on sale at Superstore. They're great for tulips because they're nice and tall so the tulips don't flop over. Love the way the light is shining through them.
ReplyDeleteyes I purchased mine at the superstore as well!!
DeleteWe need to capture and enjoy the sun whenever we can this winter.
ReplyDeletethat is certainly true this winter Judith!

ReplyDeleteShort lived is right, I think I might have seen the sun for 4 hours only. Oh well it is on the way and will stay longer each time it comes.
ReplyDeleteLovely sunny shots both inside and outside. As I type the rain is hammering against the windows as the wind picks up.
ReplyDeleteSunlight through coloured bottles is always so pretty. We've had precious little sunshine in the past week - raging wind and driving rain. Bring on the sun!
